At Comfort Oak, all products are custom-manufactured based on customer specifications. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how and when our products and services are delivered.

By placing an order with Comfort Oak, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Service & Delivery Locations

Comfort Oak provides delivery and installation services across India, subject to serviceability, site access, and logistics feasibility.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on:

     

      • Project location

      • Product type

      • Design complexity

      • Material availability


    2. Manufacturing & Dispatch Timeline

    Since all products are custom-made:

       

        • Manufacturing begins after design approval and advance payment

        • Typical manufacturing time ranges from 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the project scope

        • Dispatch is scheduled only after quality checks are completed

      Timelines communicated are approximate and may vary due to production or external factors.


      3. Shipping Method

         

          • Products are shipped through trusted logistics partners or company-arranged transport

          • Large furniture items may be shipped in knocked-down or modular form to ensure safe transit

          • Delivery is usually ground-floor only, unless installation service is included


        4. Shipping Charges

           

            • Shipping and transportation charges are:

                 

                  • Included in the quotation or

                  • Charged separately, as clearly communicated before order confirmation

            Any additional charges due to:

               

                • Difficult site access

                • Staircase-only access

                • Remote locations

                • Special lifting equipment (cranes, hoists, etc.)

              will be communicated and billed separately.


              5. Delivery & Installation

                 

                  • Delivery dates are scheduled in advance with the customer

                  • Installation services, if opted, will be conducted after product delivery

                  • The customer must ensure:

                       

                        • Clear site access

                        • Completion of civil, electrical, and plumbing work

                        • Availability during delivery and installation

                  Delays due to site unpreparedness are not the responsibility of Comfort Oak.


                  6. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

                  Delivery may be delayed due to:

                     

                      • Natural calamities

                      • Material or labor shortages

                      • Transportation issues

                      • Government regulations or restrictions

                    Such delays do not qualify for order cancellation or refund.


                    7. Inspection & Damage Reporting

                    Customers are requested to:

                       

                        • Inspect products at the time of delivery

                        • Report visible transit damage within 48 hours of delivery

                        • Provide photographic or video evidence for verification

                      After verification, Comfort Oak will repair or replace damaged components at its discretion.


                      8. Ownership & Risk Transfer

                         

                          • Ownership of products transfers to the customer upon delivery

                          • Risk of damage post-delivery is the customer’s responsibility unless installation is part of the order


                        9. Failed or Re-Attempt Delivery

                        If delivery fails due to:

                           

                            • Customer unavailability

                            • Incorrect address provided

                            • Site not ready

                          Additional delivery attempts may incur extra charges payable by the customer.
